How many of you are in Tucson? I'm born and raised here. |

So what's the deal with Tucson? Been reading bits here and there about it being a yuppy liberal town. Or is it the Snowbirds going haywire... Are hordes of illegals running amok yet? I was raised in Tucson. Went to Flowing Wells Jr. and HS and lived off of Oracle Road across from a Target and what used to be a GEMCO. After school hours I'd get with my friend and go plinking with the .22 on the outskirts of town but well within city limits. Never any trouble. I guess no more of that. Good memories growing up in ol Tucson. |
| Left Michigan in 1977 when I enlisted in the USMC. Lived in California and North Carolina in the Marines. Back to Michigan for college, came to Tucson in 1986, moved to South Dakota in 1988, Michigan for a couple of months in 1992 and been back in Tucson since summer of 1992. |

Howdy all, I am a new member here. This is my 1st post. Just found this board this week. Looks like a good spot to hang out. I'm a native Tucsonan born and raised here. I been to other places but this is home. I am also a Hughes Aircrash / Raytheon person. Looking forward to contributing to the forum. Tom |
Tucsons problems are a mix of the liberals, snowbirds and illegals. All in all it's not too bad, there are enough responsible gun owners here to keep the place reasonably safe. |
The big deal is, monsoon season is the one part of the year where it actually rains in this God forsaken hell hole.
