[ARCHIVED THREAD] - AZ trip

I will be spending Oct 18 thru the 29 in Mesa Arizona. Does anyone have any good shops or other points of interest to visit? A shop with 1911 parts would be nice.

Hehe, be careful, I lived in MA too but this gun-friendly state drew me away from that miserable POS place. It's been a little over a year now. Lots of places to visit. Dillons in Scottsdale will give you a tour and so will Cavarms I think. Ted Yost's shop is just over the border in Tempe. He has a few 1911 parts.

Yup, Mass sucks. But unfortunately, that is where the family and job are. My one consolation is that I was born in Virginia. Dad says that he wishes that he never had to move back to the Armpit of the U.S. (mass).
