FDA Rejects Booster Shots, Here's Why

Well, looks like the GOP leadership is giving us the big middle finger:

Well, she's dead Jim.  No not Rep. Gross, but her bill.  Looks like the leadership has a new bill working.  

So House Bill 435 is the new bill. And lookie there.  It has already been moved to the full house after being introduced on Tuesday.  Wow, thought they needed to come to a consensus, and blah blah blah for bills.  Looks like that isnt the case when powerful people want something done.

The good, at least this bill requires exemptions  "for reasons of conscience, including religious convictions, would also be exempt from employer mandates".   So at least there are ways out of this mess.  Also if you've had the virus, then if you prove you have the antibodies then you're good.  Not good enough in my opinion.  What about those that haven't had it yet?

The bad, obviously, they caved to special interest (ie the chamber of commerce) on Rep. Gross's bill.  Also there are industries that will be exempt from this bill "employees of children's hospitals, employees who work on a hospital intensive care or critical care unit, and employees who start work after the proposed legislation takes effect would not be able to claim the exemptions"   So once again, the health heroes' of last year are garbage this year.  And if you're a new hire...sucks to be you.  Great, my kids can look forward to good times.
Also doesn't stop proof of vaccination for live music and show, except those played at publicly funded venues.

I found this part interesting "Even if lawmakers approve the bill swiftly, it's unlikely the legislation would take effect this year. The GOP-controlled House Health Committee passed the bill Tuesday afternoon along partisan lines, and full House approval was expected Wednesday. But the measure still needs to move through the Senate and even if approved there within days and then signed into law by Gov. Mike DeWine, it wouldn't take effect for three months.

Although, I am listening to Blystone talk about it on his facebook live post today.  He does not like it.  "crap legislative bill"  "they sold you out"  "the speaker is a puppet of Dewine"

While a positive antibody test can be proof, there is no standard test in the bill and anybody can refuse to accept the type test you use.

When I got tested all I got was a verbal yes, no paperwork. It was a pharmacy, not Dr.

a) your a-hole employer fires you before "the effective date of this bill" (which is what, date enacted?)...

b) you can't get a new job after "the effective date of this bill" and claim exemptions!?!?!


We need to call up Cupp's office and demand they make amends for this!  This is his fugly baby!
