northern delaware county here, Looks like another inch, but school canceled. Wife had to be at work at 7, she was late. She said it was slick of you weren't careful, a lot of people not being careful.
It looks like cars are going by the house at full speed now. I get to try and work from home while the kids do obnoxious things around me all day |

Went out blasting around in the stuff this morning and tonight. This was actually enough to make me wish I had a Subaru to play in instead of a FWD. Seems rare since moving to the Southern part of the state.

Itll probably be the same way next year. The past few winter storms have missed or blown over the NE part of the state.

Winter of 2009/2010 convinced me to put a snowplow on my truck. I am more glad this year to have that plow than any year since. I may still end up with some seat time on the tractor if I need to push my windrows back but the nice warm seat of the truck is where I belong. Bring it!

I think this storm is a little underestimated.
NWS is now saying 8” but if you watch a lot of these YouTube weather guys, they all say 10-15” with the potential for a lot more. Every single one of them I watch have been more accurate than the local news and NWS this season. I trust them more than I trust the big names. The one thing about this storm is it’s unprecedented and once in a lifetime so the models don’t have much to work with. |

I will say the prevailing winds out of the noth-east says it's gonna be here for a while. The cold temps make for fluffy snow and more accumulation. Plenty of gas for the snowmobile on hand, plenty of firewood by the stove, I will plug the truck in before long. Bring it! Will tune in tuesday for forevadt from CC...

The blowing and drifting will make them right ?? Fine sleet west of cbus sounds like rain on the metal roof. Was out a bit ago, E-W roads are drifting pretty bad out here where it is open. Agree to nowhere near what they were calling for, but it will be enough to gum things up for the morning commute.

Just got done pulling the kids on a tube behind the side by side. My 7yr old gets off and says “It feels like a got slapped in the face with a thousand icicles” Haha! It was a blast, a painful blast, but a blast. |
