Sounds interesting. Unfortunately I'm geared up for .450 Bushmaster at the moment.

Keep us posted on your progress.

What does it offer different than the 450 Bushmaster?

Didin't realize 450 bushmaster was on the list.........only AR friendly round I saw was 45 Win Mag,

This is the list I found on Ohio Wildlife Council's website;
Legal deer hunting rifles are chambered for the following calibers: .357 Magnum, .357 Maximum, .38 Special, .375 Super Magnum, .375 Winchester, .38-55, .41 Long Colt, .41 Magnum, .44 Special, .44 Magnum, .444 Marlin, .45 ACP, .45 Colt, .45 Long Colt, .45 Winchester Magnum, .45 Smith & Wesson, .454 Casull, .460 Smith & Wesson, .45-70, .45-90, .45-110, .475 Linebaugh, .50-70, .50-90, .50-100, .50-110 and .500 Smith & Wesson.

and I see where it has been amended.......but 45 win mag with a dedicated mag will be less expensive to shoot and practice with ....just a quick search showed a box of Buffalo big bore for $0.77 cents a round vs $1.50 .......and the mag follower I am making will be able to be fitted with an easily removable mag block to limit it to two rounds in the mag.

Ohio now allows any straight walled cartridge from .357 to .50.

What are we looking at price wise for an upper and a mag? Or whatever package you'd offer it as?

Good round.

I never saw the point of it out of a pistol, but out of a carbine it would be nice.

I don't deer hunt but would have one for other reasons.
