| Anyone else get a delay in the past few weeks? Mine was submitted Monday evening by computer and still hasn't been approved. Mine have always been instantly approved with no issue. Anything else I can ask the ffl to do? Isn't there a max time they can delay it? |

I got my first ever delay a few months ago.
I've been buying guns for 16 years and never had an issue I was completely shocked and felt like a criminal when I got a delay. The guy behind the counter acted like it was no big deal. He handed me a piece of paper and told me to pick the gun up on xx/xx unless they call me sooner |

Frequently happens with no social security number on the form. Just saying... -- Chuck I gave my ss#. Always do. I know it has no bearing on anything but I have a ccw and a few tax stamps so it's not like it's my first purchase. They said the other guy that did a tranfer just before me was delayed also. Just super frustrating as this is the first time I've used this shop and I really want my gun. According the to the FBI website it's a 5 day wait if not approved sooner. |
