| Has anyone been to AIM's new show room yet? Worth going? Do they charge FFL transfer fee (and how much) if buying firearms or receivers there? |
| Good to know that! Does the show room sell everything listed at their website? Or have to order online and pick up at the show room? If I order AR receivers online and pick up at show room, no transfer fee? I remember AIMS used to charge $30 for transfer fee if local pick up at the counter. |

If you're going to buy a receiver or gun make an appointment. I went a couple weeks ago and didn't make one (my fault )but the guys in the showroom let me get them anyway since it was slow at the time. I bought a few receivers and some other stuff and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Nice guys and very helpful. ETA: Will probably be going back next week for more goodies. |

That's because the old showroom wasn't a showroom. It was a pick up counter for the convenience of the locals. Quoted:

New showroom is way better than the old one. Haven't transferred any firearms. That's because the old showroom wasn't a showroom. It was a pick up counter for the convenience of the locals. Not always locals, I made the 3+ hour drive many times from Cleveland during the height of the cheap C&R guns to buy multiple firearms, cases of ammo and even some old SKS crates they used to have stacked behind the shop. I never drove home with a less than full Ford Ranger bed

Ran by this afternoon picking up some ammo. Rifles on the wall, some handguns behind the counter. AIM apparel; some cleaning supplies out on the floor. Much nicer than the old pickup counter, two gents behind the counter were great, expected nothing less. Keep it up AIM. |
