Hello All,

Just called them and it seems they only have a 50ft and 100yd range but I can put my target at 50yds on the 100yd range?

Just wanted to make sure, I usually go to Deer Creek but wanted to check out another range this weekend.

Thanks all.

Yes, you can put your target where you want to.  Troy the range officer is a great guy I haven't been out there since it flooded but it is always a good time.

Lately, they have determined minimum range based on how hard the ground is (i.e. how prone it is to causing bullets to deflect over the berm.)  Today, they allowed people to shoot at 25 yards for maybe the first 45 minutes or so that the range was open, then changed it to a 50 yard minimum.

Thanks for the replies all!

The RO at Delaware is definitely a lot cooler of a guy to talk to than at Deer Creek.

Really like this range a lot better, its smaller but just has a better atmosphere all together.

Shot at 50yds with my AR (got it zero'd) and a Mosin Nagant.

Had a great time!

Me shooting my AR

My Dad shooting the Mosin

I would say this is a pretty good group

Can't tell if its 5 shots or 6...

I spent a ton of time there in my late teens. Back when you needed no permit and the range was unsupervised. Can you imagine a bunch of 17 year olds today hauling a bunch of firearms around? It would make national news.......
