Headed there today to pick up a new work vehicle for one of my guys and have never been.
Plan to kick around Cleveland and then head back West. Anyplace I should see or avoid? |

What are your interests? There's the usual like the Rock Hall/Science Center. You could catch an Indian's game if they are playing. Playhouse square if you want to catch a show of some sort
Food is good here - a couple of big name chef's and their restaurants: Crop Bistro - Steve Schmoler's restrautant Any of Zack Bruell's restaurants including Cowell & Hubbard, L'Albatros and Parallax Michael Symon has Lola and Lolita Chris Hodgson's Hodge's |

Drove through some sketchy shit and explored down by the lake/stadium etc. Ended up staying at the Glidden house by a college campus. Not bad but the wifi sucks despite advertising it. Not unusual for staying in a historical type hotel. What is cmp? The Civilian Marksmanship Program. Where people order M1Garands and other stuff from the govt. and the Camp Perry shoots occur. The CMP north store is in northern Ohio. |

Stopped into camp perry but they are only open Thursday Friday Saturday. Ghost town otherwise but fun to see no less.
I'm new to this cmp thing but you can pick up your rifle and not transfer it to a ffl in your home state? Or maybe their website caters to locals only? Cool deal no less. Good thing they were closed or I'd have a new rifle since I've been looking at them. Driving to Chicago now. Stopped in Sturgis mi. Locals seem friendly but ran into a cheap 40 drinking crowd at the gas station. Owners told them to knock off the swearing as they selected their preferred Boones farm bottles. Got a little heated bit I imagine being off the interstate gets lots of interesting people. |

Lol... at the Glidden house you were 10 minutes from my place, in Sturgis Mi you were 10 min from my sister-in-law's place. Small world |
