We see that type of river fluctuation all the time here in Bolivar along the Tuscarawas.  There is a damn downriver a few miles to protect Dover/New Philly and we frequently have 1/4 of our 150 acres under water.

I'm thinking it will be up again soon with the rain we will be getting tonight and tomorrow. The news will make a big deal of the valley flooding like they do every time it floods.

I used to work in the industrial area between dockside and canal and was there for the second biggest flood on record, in the shop we had water up to my hips and slabs of ice bigger then VW bugs.

Of course it always makes me sick when I see people walking through the water since its full of Akron's waste.

Yea, we have had quite a bit of rain lately. Good thing we design for most of these situations.

badm4 and me killed many a pasture pig around the Gunkleman's property back in the day before it became developed.  Yuppy-ville popped up around that area for sure.

Stay safe & dry up there.  Our blow job season (hurricane) starts next month.  Hopefully another uneventful year.
