Store on armslist has .22 ammo in various brands and amounts. No limit on purchase.
www.armslist.com/posts/2824335/cincinnati-ohio-ammo-for-sale---22lr-in-stock-several-different-brands-available--no-limits Normally I like to see a new store come on board and wish them well. At the price of .20 cents per round, I hope no one buys. .20 cents per round is $105.00 plus tax for a 525 bulk pack. |

That's twice the going price, but if people are willing to pay for it, by all means do it. If not, they won't sell it or they'll lower the price. Simple, and the way a free market should work. Wow - $105 plus tax for a 525 bulk pack! If that is twice the going price, you're gonna make me feel like I must've stole that last 525 bulk pack of Remington that I bought on Sunday night for $21.97 plus tax. .22 is out there, it just takes diligence in finding it. ETA: As of a couple of hours ago the walmart in Springfield had the 525 bulk packs in stock for $21.97 (Not sure if they are still in stock or not). |

Maybe, but my walther P22 will eat the stuff with no problems, so it makes for some fun range time with my oldest boy. (I'm usually loading the mags and he is shooting, lol). |

If you can find it in stock, yeah you can get it for around 5 cents a round. If you want it right away and you want to get more than 500 rounds at once, you go to the secondary market, where its selling for around 10 cents a round. |

Just because prices go up and down matching supply to demand doesn't mean you have a free market. The market for guns and ammo is not free, not by a long shot. They are among the most heavily regulated markets in the US. If there was really a free market in guns and ammo then anyone could make/import/export/buy/sell/transport/ship guns/ammo anywhere in the US. Heck, you could even buy guns and ammo out of vending machines with a credit card in a free market. No, what we have is a market totally screwed up by politicians and regulators. The current price spikes would not be so severe and long lasting if imports from more countries were allowed. At $0.20/rnd the heck with .22lr, I'm going to shoot 7.62x54R. |
