I need to be in Cincinnati for a few days for work and looking at departure dates.  How bad is traffic on I-275 from Highway 32 to the airport?  Am I kidding myself thinking I could make an 8PM flight if my seminar gets out at 5PM?

It won't be any problem. 32 is never that busy, and 275 gets busy but not to crazy. As far as cvg it's a pretty small airport compared to others and usually pretty easy to get through. Depending on where your seminar is and traffic you should be able to be at the airport by 530 to 6

The biggest problem area there is going to be where 275 crosses 71/75. You should be ok making the flight as long as there are no accident/ incidents along the path

This area currently has the right lane of 275 closed for construction but the delay is fairly minimal.

In three hours you could loop all the way around 275 and still make your flight.

Thanks guys.  This kind of surprises me a little especially being the 5 o'clock hour.

You can always check the traffic cameras and traffic monitors on Buckeye Traffic.

+1.  And 275 is the largest circle highway in the US

I travel that area of 275 on a weekly basis for the past 10+ years, and it's never busy or backed up.

Left Lane it going over I-75. I-275 backs up around 3-6 pm in the two right lanes plus the exit lanes in that area.
