I just got back a little while ago. When I was done voting, I stopped and Thanked the volunteers for their service and told them they were greatly appreciated. They were shocked for at least a full second or so and then all the smiles came out.  I thanked them the last time I voted and got the same reaction.

Why, Thank you, Glockgirl26! UPDATE: me and the Mrs. of 47 years have been voting here in Northern Summit County forever. Usually it's a 5 minute deal: drive up, pull out ID, vote and leave. Place is usually like a ghost town. NOT TODAY! 1. could not find any parking; PLACE WAS ABUZZ AND ON FIRE! 2. line was over 100+ out the door of the polling place!! 3. wait was 1 1/2 hours in line!!! 4. 99.9% of the chatter in the line was anti BHO and pro Romney!!!! |
