I would choose the M16 due to reduced recoil, easily available barrels and much cheaper ammo.

i shot a full auto G3... my 50bmg had less recoil... the G3 is NOT fun... by the 3rd shot its is a AA cannon...

M16 best bang for your buck. It can be a submachine gun, a full length rifle, what ever you want to make it into.

The G3 off a bipod is a fun gun to shoot, and easy to control. Off-hand its a bit of a handful.
I enjoy shooting the G3.

In your opinion the ar is a better buy, price being the same? I guess since everyone seems to say the g# style in full auto is a beast it might be to much for me........

Most times, anyone you talk to will tell you the M16 is the most NFA fun you can have. And I support that as well. How much (realistically) are you trying to spend? There could be a significant price diff.....

Depends, are you talking about a RR M-16 vs a RR G3? The G3 could be a sear gun, which would change things.
RR vs RR, the 16 is a better buy. An Hk sear however, would be a tough call vs a RR M16.
