I received misleading campaign literature regarding Columbus Issue 12 from it's advocacy group, "Columbus Citizens for Good Government"....insinuating that a "Yes" vote would make City Council more accountable...it won't.
The current City Charter language forces more openness...a "yes" vote would change the City Charter to adhere to the lesser restrictions of Ohio State law, allowing the Council to have closed meetings. Voting "no" retains the Charter's current language and prevents closed meetings. I'm voting "no". |
