One Shot One Shot is a nice shop but they want $40 for a standard transfer ($75 for NFA transfer) which is the highest of a number of other shops I've been to. Plenty of other shops out there for less, at least in terms of standard transfers. I have an XCR on order and it is getting transferred to Shooter's Supply Shop in Loveland for just $30. A couple other shops on the East Side are $35 (Hunter's Den, Old 74 Gun Shop). Might also want to call Old Milford Gun Shop as I seem to recall their transfer is $25 but that was several years ago when I used them last. It might have changed. I would have checked with them when ordering my XCR but they were closed since it was Wednesday. |
Make sure you don't use Target World. I used them for my lower transfer and it took them 5 days after it was delivered to call me and tell me to pick it up. I called 2 days after they got it and they said "Oh, we are doing inventory and can't get into that room"

| Yeah, I have a friend who had something come in, and Target World said it wasn't there. When he contacted the seller, he was read the tracking information, to include who signed for it. Call back Target World, go down there to find out they had SOLD HIS STUFF TO SOMEONE ELSE!! |

What part of town are you in? Yeah, Cincinnati "area" is huge. The Freedom Firearms Company is 30 miles north of Cincinnati in Liberty Twp. You could also use Gun Runner in Monroe right off Cincinnati Dayton Road if you are coming that far north. Gun Runner charges $20. It's to bad if One Shot has raised their transfer fee. They used to charge $50 for a can and I think $100 for a MG. If they raised it to $75 for a can I'll be looking elsewhere in the future. In my opinion, somebody charging $30, $40, $50 for a transfer is telling you without really telling you they don't want to do it. Instead of saying no, they just gouge the shit out of you and figure if you are willing to pay....... $40 for a transfer??? Item comes UPS with the rest of their stuff. They mark it in the bound book just like the rest of their stuff. They call you and call in NICS just like for the rest of their stuff. They show it going out in their bound book, just like the rest of their stuff. |

It looks like they have raised prices on everything! I have bought a few guns and ammo from them in the past and they were very reasonable. The prices that I've seen in there lately are higher than many other local shops. Maybe they are trying to compete with Target World. |

I live in Fairfield. Travel to the other side of town (read: Newtown) is not deal breaker if it's someone I can do business with for a reasonable price. How about Gary's Guns right there on Rt 4 in Fairfield? I don't know if he does transfers, but I imagine he does. Worth a call to get a price maybe. |

After 1 week I went in and told them to check in freakin gun so I could move on. The guy went to the back room where it had been sitting and finally checked it in. |

It seems that since Jason left One Shot the whole attitude of the shop has changed. Higher prices, raised their transfer fees and some of the staff are down right rude. It's a shame and I thought about mentioning the customer service to Chris, but he hasn't been in the store the last 3 or 4 time I've been in..... I only use them for NFA stuff now. |

I use to be all for one shot. I would tell everyone to go there and I would make a lot of purchases through them. They were a great shop but recently they have awful customer service and prices are just as high as target world. So I guess its time to find another shop to buy from. When I order my next suppressor I might have to go through oneshot.

I have not seen Chris in there any of the times that I've been there in the last year or so. The operation seems to be run by a blond haired lady that seems to know what she's doing. But I've heard her chewing some ass on the phone. I don't know what the deal is? Maybe they all start out with good prices and good attitudes.... And then then they grow up and act like Target World! I've since moved on to other dealers that have better prices! |

I NEED TO FIND A SHOP THAT DEALS WITH NFA STUFF SO THAT I CAN HAVE CHOICES. |

Man I wished I would have read this before I used Target World for my FFL transfer. They also told me ATF was doing an audit or inventory and that they would get it done. 3 days later and still no phone call. The last time I called I told him just just got another FFL done at another place and they did it the same day it was received. He said "ya you get that at Mom and Pop shops" and I though oh you mean you get better service elsewhere?
Don't they understand if you get more people at your place that could mean more business? They are asses and I wouldnt buy a thing from and I certainly would tell anyone to buy anything from them. Service is everything in my mind. |

Hickok in Clarksville, even the Milford Gun Shop, also Vance's in Columbus is cheaper than One Shot. Also Vance's is a NFA dealer. |

Does Chris Roma still own and operate One Shot or not? I heard that Chris still owns One Shot but is focusing on their ammo line and marketing to Law Enforcement. They used to post on this board fairly often I believe but it's been awhile..... Hopefully they will read some of these comments and get back on track. |

Tri County Polaris - Bill Kelly - 771-2887
11631 Chester Road (north of Kemper Road intersection) $25.00 I've used him several times without a problem. I usually just stop by the day after I expect him to receive it. He's open Tuesday - Saturday. I found him through the Gunbroker FFL list. |

Another dart thrower at Target World. I rented a handgun to shoot on their indoor range. To rent they ask and keep your driver's license while using the rental. When I returned the rental gun, they gave me the wrong DL back. They had given my license to another renter On topic, I use Barry Kuntz, Lebanon, OH. $15.00 per transfer. His email is [email protected] |
