I was just curious to see how many Ohio State students we have here.
Plus, I'm taking air pistol next quarter. EDU PAES 171.03. Should be fun, I wondered if anyone else was in it. |

Not a student, but I do carry a Sig P229 Elite, Glock 27, HK MP-5, HK G36, Remington 870 and/or Bushmaster M4 around campus ...  ... legally!! ... OSUPD, same as Mr10anahaf except I don't get to drive that nice Dodge SUV you see in his avatar ... I'm in a Crown Vic.

Hey, last quarter I saw what looked like a tactical team stacked up outside of that building they don't use any more. Did you guys have some sort of training exercise? |

We used to have the G36 as an option for in-car patrol. Now the G36's are only for SRT (in slect fire, I might add). Our SRT team trains twice a month and they regularly take advantage of buildings that aren't being used, so it is likely that was what you saw. They train quite a bit making entry to and searching buildings ... they're real good at it and fun to watch. |
