I do not see the point of keeping her campaign alive. In my opinion, Obama is such a weak candidate he would likely be defeated in the November. Hillary can do a better job of portraying herself as a "moderate" and appeal to the weak minded people that say they are in "the middle". In a debate format, if McCain gets aggressive and attacks her, he will be seen as the mean guy picking on the defenseless woman. On the contrary, I believe that he can go head to head gainst Obama and not seem like the white man keeping the black man down. Obama's record is so liberal, he makes McCain look ultra-conservative! I am not excited to keep the clinton Machine alive. I am siting here watching Strickland drone on about her Ohio victory. I think I am going to be sick. I actually started to fill out the form to change my party affiliation in order to get a Democratic ballot but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I would have voted Obama. I voted for Ron Paul in protest. What are your thoughts? |
| Neither democrap is a good choice. The Superdelegates will determine which one will represent the democraps at election time. McCain should win if the Republicans can get to the polls. Clinton part deux would allow Billy back into the White House to resume his antics. Barack will be a puppet to the strong arm of the democraps. Stock up on receivers and mags now just in case. |

I don't think Hillary will bring in the number of voters that Obama would and may give McCain a slightly better chance of winning. I see Obama pulling all the democrat voters and also a record number of black voters. Also when the gloves come off, I see Obama pulling the race card and the media hinting McCain as being racist. After reading all the crap about record numbers at the polls, I hope the democrat winner gets over-confident of victory, shows more of their extremist agenda and maybe scare some of the more moderate voters. |

Hillary would be much easier to beat than Obama. There is a lot of anti-Clinton sentiment still out there, and even many democrats don't want to see four more years of the corrupt Clintons. By keeping Clinton alive, the democrats are still split, which helps us. I think Clinton is working the super-delegates hard and the convention may be a real fiasco, which will also help us. If enough demoncraps get alienated at the convention they may stay home, or vote for Nader, or vote for McCain. Any of these would be better for the country than a vote for Obama or Clinton. A divided democrat party is a weaker party. |
I couldn't bring myself to switch sides and vote for Hitliery. I voted for McCain(as if it isn't a dead cert for him now) but my Wife tried to claim independent, but had to go with Democrap(only because she does not want to see Obama Bin Laden get into the White House). She does not want Hitliery in there either but sees Clinton Inc as being allot easier to beat come November. |

Looking at some results from last night, it appeared that over 2 million Dems voted against only 1 million GOP. Ohio Results Better start funding Nader's campaign. |
|
Texas's results are even more illuminating: About 2.8 million to 1.2 million. Texas Results |
Do you think that # is correct with the amount of Reds that said they would vote for Clinton Inc to get rid of Obama Bin? |
How many were crossovers? I can name a bunch of people I know personally who went out and voted "D" yesterday...... yet when it comes time for the general election I think they are going to vote for Juan McCain. |
+1 I know another forum, plus some co-workers that were talking about crossing over. |
Republicans had no reason to vote. |
I couldn't do it either. I understand the strategy, but I just couldn't bring myself to ask for a democrat ballot without getting physically sick right there. |
We'll see in November I guess Though I don't think that you had 500,000 crossover voters, which would be required to even things up. |
Aye but ALOT of republicans did not bother to vote in the primaries due to the fact McCain already had it in the bag. No point in going out unless it was to cause maham in the Democratic primaries or to vote your heart. The numbers will be greater in the general. |
| Honestly, I can't get excited about this election period. As a conservative, McCain doesn't impress me. In my opinion, this is just another election that we as voters have to settle out for the status quo. If I hear the word change one more time, I'm going to #$%^&*! puke. McCain's voting record on the 2nd is shaky, but he's all we have to vote for. I'd like to see a third party with teeth, constitutionally based, getting back to the roots of what made this country what it was back in . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ... . . ......................Sorry, I was dreaming again. |

+1 BigOhio It'a all about having to choose the best of the worst from my perspective since none of the candidates is bringing anything significant of value to process or to the citizenry. Obama is all about, " Just Give Peace A Chance" and between Hillary and McCain you just have to decide whom you dislike more. *%$@ |
Disagree, there were plenty enough state and federal republican candidates to decide amoungst, legislative and judicial, as well as the usual amount of school funding issues. |
You were thinking about it the wrong way. I did ask for a Dumbocratic ballot, I did vote for the beast knowing full well when the time came I was pulling the switch on McCain. Think of it as an espionage mission. Sometimes you have to pretend your something your not to hurt those who really need the hurting
