Have a client with an immediate opening for a Mechanical design engineer. There are two positions, one 3-5 years experience, one more than 7 years experience. BSME required, ProE shop but will train someone using one of the other 3d packages. Must have thorough understanding of fluid dynamics. This is an excellent company with long term employees. They treat their people well and they don't leave. These positions are a combination of expansion and succession planning. The parent is a large multinational that is well run and profitable. This company makes safety equipment and their major market is the public safety sector. They are the leader in their segment. Very low layoff potential without the ups and downs of aerospace or automotive. Salary range $50s +/- on the junior position and $70s +/- on the more senior position. Full large company benefits and bonus potential. This is not a coop or internship position, this is full time perm placement. NASA, automotive or aerospace experience is a plus.
