I am in Cuyahoga County. My wife and I would like to attend a class to get our CCW licenses. Can anybody recommend a one day class in this area. Actually, we don't mind driving about 30-40 miles in any one direction ( except north, as that puts us in the lake) to attend a good class that is highly recommended. Also, what is the average price of these classes? This would make a good sticky topic. What classes are avaliable and recommended in what counties, and what the cost of each class is. |

If you are willing to drive to lake county we will do a one day for you. We will also travel to do classes for people if they can set up a place to shoot. We have done it on peoples farms and cabins as long as there is a good backstop. We teach out of a 40" gooseneck trailer for the mobile classes. We will teach as little as 3 people to as many as you can muster up. We have multiple instructors available to lend a hand for the bigger classes. We teach predominantly on steel targets for instant feed back and to teach you to engage the target until it is down. Fe spend more time on the range than is required. you will get a level 1 class while getting you’re ccw at the same time. Round count is 400 and the price is $100.00 feel free to call us 1-440-205-0425 Thanks, Brian Oldani |

The course noted above sounds good since you actually shoot and may get some training other than just get your CHL ticket punched -- 2 hours of range time is required, but there is no qualification standard. Also see: Ohioans for Concealed Carry training database -- Chuck |
