They hired me to open up and manage a "general store" for them, check my web sight:

Thistle Farms web sight: http://www.thistlefarms.info/
My new store web sight: http://www.thistlefarms.info/tfstore.html

You ohio guys stop in and see my if your ever in eastern ohio...we have a cafe, retaurant, deli and sell last minute camping stuff for people going to senica lake

We sell our beef in quarters, halves or wholes...$2.99 per lb. (price includes processing and packaging)
we divide the quarters evenly so every one gets the same amount of steaks, roasts, ground meat, ect.

anyway i have been working my but off to get the doors open, i barily got it done but we opened today and it went pretty well...

So what would a 1/4 slab cost and what do I get for it approximately?

A whole hell of a lot of meat.  ;)

I got some two years ago, from another farmer.  Lots of ground beef (20+lbs), patties (48+), steaks (12 large steaks), roasts (2?)...

+1 on the price for a 1/4 cow.  My buddy and I were looking at going in on another purchase.  We cooked up our last steak a few weeks back.
