A while back there was a thread that stated who voted for and against HB 347. I did a search, but it's out of my reach as a non-team member. Would one of you TMs mind bumping it up or providing me a link? I'm taking 20 high school students to the state house on the 17th and would like to grill my rep and sen about it if I need to. I'm already going to rip into Sen. Carey about his lack of doing anything important. 90% of his bills (sponsored and co-sponsored) have to do with renaming highways and creating special license plates. |

Well, It seems both of them voted for the bill. So, I guess I'll have to commend them on something. As far the legislature not doing things... I typical support less government. I'm a libertarian conservative. I don't see how anyone can study history and political science and be FOR big government. But, in the case of Ohio, there are some things that need to be fixed. Such as education funding. I'd really like to see a conceal carry law similar to Alaska. But since that'll never happen, something along the lines of Texas. I really don't like Ohio's law on going into resteraunts. I like the idea that you can't carry is 51% of their revenue is from alcohol. Since we're stuck with a big powerful oppressive government, I'd at least like them to fix some of the stupid liberal BS. |
