The PRO Gun Show is being held at the old Westland Mall in Columbus this weekend. PRO hasn't had a show since the Spring, so I an looking for to attending! |
However, it would be a good idea to at least carry it in a soft case into the show. I have seen CPD with binoculars at the back of the parking lot on two occassions. |
What were they looking for ? |
Yes they are. |
The last one I went to had quite a few. Saw one group fondling a pistol and asking retarded questions... things like "is this the slide?, this is what makes it shoot right (trigger).." I'll be going tomorrow... I may try to unload a few things too... might try to get the rest of the reloading gear I need... ammo prices are killing me these days :( |
I went. Sold my almost new .45 for 200 less than I paid for it 4 months ago :(... no one there was feeling humane, but it had to go. Ran into some really angry people who seemed to hate everything, they pissed me off but I held my tongue. Other than that it was pretty much like all the others. There was lots of ammo there, and saw wolf .223 for $126 per thousand. If I still had my ar15 I would have jumped on that. I think everything else was pretty grossly overpriced, with few exceptions. Saw a well-used high point with a $175 price tag ![]() |

Since I started this thread, I guess that I'll give everyone and update. This had been the first PRO Gun Show in Columbus since last Spring, so the attendance was very high. In fact, there were so many people wanting to sell or trade their guns at the show, that I stood in line for 20 minutes to check my gun in at the door and pay to get in. After entering, I found the show to have good, but not great prices on firearms and many people where wheeling and dealing in the aisleways. I was espcially happy to find .308 and 7.62x39 ammo at fairly reasonable prices. I sold my pistol, so now I have the cash to fund my CAR-15 upgrade. All and all, I am a happy camper! My only regret is that I had to leave the show after about two hours since my family had to leave town for the remainder of the weekend. If you are in the Columbus, Ohio area on Sunday, stopping by the show before it ends is a worth while trip! PS I got to see the Mossberg Just In Case (JIC) Package, which included a 500 Cruiser Shotgun and a reasonable amount of survival gear. It was a nice set-up for someone wanting a firearm and some basic supplies, in case of emergency! I also saw the new FN FS2000 Assault Rifle. The rifle was slightly under $1,900 and looked like something out of a sci-fi movie. Cool factor aside, I'd rather own about any other .223 assault rifle, if for nothing else, to save money and assure that you can get spare parts if you need them. |
Don't know the name of the store; If you walked in from the parking lot they were on the left south side of the second or third alcove. I didn't take too much notice other than the fact that I couldn't take advantage of the best deal I found :(. I've seen that guy there before though, he's one of the regulars. |
