Yeah, I should have known better. I've been down that road before. Unfortunately, you can poke fun of any group you want, gays, liberals, women, Canadians, just don't horse around with a darker skinned race....or you'll get teh lock. You can't even joke about it. If that museum had been, for instance, an Irish heritage museum, and was failing for lack of interest, we could have made 1,000 Irish jokes, as mean as they come and I'd guarantee that thread would still be alive. If it had been a "Gay History Museum", the thread would have been nearly X-rated, and still would have survived. Think about it in that context, and it seems quite absurd. |

I guess some of you have not been following the recent events involving 1GR and Cavvet. While the thread in question started off fine, and was funny as hell to a point. It began to go down a path I saw as not ending well for some people whom I shoot, drink and sleep with  . People who are my friends. I though it best that the thread disappear. I apologize if my preventive actions have caused anybody undue stress or emotional harm.mmk

MMK I totaly understand why the thread disapeared. You were looking out for your friends. Good for you. What is a shame, is the fact that this country has become so policicaly correct ,that even a discussion board such as this ( 95% + white male ) has to censor its own members. For what? To passify a few crybabies who think they have a Constutional right not to be offended. What a bunch of BS  As far as 1GR and Cavvet go well, does anyone realy care what those two Bozo's do? |
I wasn't aware of any of that, I had assumed the thread tanked because of it's racial overtones - which given the subject was unavoidable. I didn't follow it past a certain point. I wasn't pointing fingers at all. |

Yet another reasion I only read the Ohio HTF. The rest of this site is pretty much a waste of time and bandwidth.
