As this is new to me(wanting to sell a firearm) I want to make sure I follow all the rules and regs. If I do an instate sale, this will be considered Face To Face and does not require an FFL to be involved. If I sell the firearm to someone out of state, do I need to take my firearm to an FFL so he can transfer it to the potential buyers FFL, or can I recieve a copy of the potential buyers FFL and ship it Overnite myself??? This is the one that has me stumped. Do I need to get an FFL involved, also I'm clued up on not shipping to the Communist states. Thanks ahead of time......... P.S.Please do nto respond if you do not knwo the answer. |

If you have an out-of-state buyer, you can ship to his FFL directly, just by verifying his FFL's license here: ATF EZCheck Face to face in Ohio is face to face. No FFL required. |
Excellent response! If you do ship directo to a FFL, the receiving FFL will need to know who you are, so they can log it into their books correctly. Most will require a copy of your driver license. |
Man, I was amazed that nearly every reasponse in the thread I started in General on this, was don't sell it. I purchased the rifle and I didn't really want it, just did it as we were moving house, now I know what I'm after, I need to get me a AR 9mm, but can only do it(at the moment) if I sell the rifle on. I may reconsider but currently I have 3 AR platforms that shoot .223/5.56 and want a 9mm. I'll see how well it sells on the EE, if it doesn't move then I'll take it as a good omen and I shouldn't move it on. |
It's a STAG ARMS M4gery, I have pics if you want to see them?? It's flattop upper minus the sling thing and BUIS, with STAG lower with DPMS parts kit and Eagle Arms 6 position stock. Roughly 300rnds through it, and that's 300rnds of RG. I'm asking $650 OBO. |
