I'm at work so this isn't exact but the tagline at the top of the issue is about supressing a 10/22. It's one of their quarterly full color issues so it'll be tough to miss. |

I received my second kit today. Another all matching kit that looks unissued. What a deal! Although someone forgot to pack the cleaning rod. I'm sure Bryan will take care of it on Monday.

Ok, now I'm interested!
 I've been meaning to get some AK kits for future rifle builds as well as a pistol...would this kit be good for making an AK pistol? I realize that I would not be able to use the pistol grip style handguard but does the rest of the kit lend itself to being a good donor parts kit for a pistol? I know that a Krink kit would make a better looking pistol but I'm not made of $$ and would just want a pistol for a "fun" gun. After looking at the pic of the parts kit I think I'd be better off just buying a couple kits to make into rifles and then just look for an AMD-65 parts kit to make into a pistol.

So in addition to this kit, I will need to order a reciver and some additional US made parts to make this functional and legal? (more n00bness to come) |

Yes you need a reciever and at least 5 US parts(reciever counts as one) as far as I know. Check out this forum for details www.ar15.com/forums/forum.html?b=4&f=93 Welcome to the site

My 2 kits just showed up. They look pretty good to me. The price was right, even with shipping and since i'm in Ohio, the tax.

I recieved my two kits.
numbers are all matching, and they appear unfired!! shipping was about 4 or 5 business days from Ohio to Orygun. thanks bryan!! |

Got my 5 kits today.
Four were in good condition, but the crown on the fifth one's muzzle was badly pitted... I mean HOLES... and I had to use a butane torch to heat the slant brake just to find that out. It was frozen in place from rust. It's the only one of the five that I'm not really happy with. |
