| hello all, I don't post on here much but visit about everyday to soak up all the knowledge that abounds here........................ anyway, I would like to know if anyone could tell me of any gunsmiths or members in the central ohio area that could do a barrel install and headspace check for me, thanks |

don't know about central ohio area... but if you want to take a trip north to sylvania (ohio), go to ADCO. adcofirearms.com If you need any help on finding the place, I can tell you what the area/building looks like. They do good work, very reputable. L8er

You could go see Jerry (Service Manager) at Thompson Ford in Circleville, and have him bring it home, tell him it is for Hal. I or a few other here can install. I can get it to Brian from here if you need any special work done. I do not have headspace guages, if the barrel and bolt is new name brand items and made within the specs, there should be no issue. I can rough it with my case gauge and a couple sized cases to verify to a good enough degree. |
