it is worth it, i have been into radios for 20 yrs and ham for about 7, i love it, it is as addicting and expensive as guns are LOL, nothing like talking thousands of miles on 6m during a band opening or hearing yourself thru the headphones on a sats downlink

i have had my ticket about 14 or 15 years now and sometimes you tend to get out of the business but something always brings you back.

a lot like guns.
