| Well, Its this weekend!! Anyone going?? I'll be there Sunday... |
I didn't even buy a sausage sandwich. Nothing, nada. I just needed to get out of the house. I looked at lower receivers, Eotech sights, mags and ammo. There was a fair number of Bushmaster, Armalite and Rock River ARs for sale by vendors. I'm sure you'll find something to your liking. |

it was a pretty good crowd today.........ARs all over the place, lots of lowers, a complete BSUHMASTER lower. stripped AMEETEC-ARMS, BUSHMASTER ROCK RIVER ARMS lowers........can't remember the prices..........looked at some of the WASR AK.......and was surprised to see no canted front sights, or gas blocks! they must have stopped hiring parkinson patience in the assembly process. for you guys that want a 7.62 AK parts kit.....but are weary of what you'll get in the mail, there's a vendor there that has a mess of them......you can look at them for condition before you buy. but they are slatered in cosmoline........but he does have paper towels. there was a GLOCK vendor there........if you are so inclined looking for a demilled panzerfaust.........one is available for 500 bucks...... saw a new TA-01 ACOG for six-hundred some bucks in the first building, as well as other models, EOtechs, and the usually slatered of BSAs, NCstars spread though the show......didn't see any AIMPONTS. only a couple of TACPOINTs the longer version one. I did see 1 M92 "KRINKOV" parts kit as well.....for get this, only 690 some bucks........man what a steal, huh? for you die hard M1911A1 fans........there was a UNION SWITCH AND SIGNAL in prestine condition for 3200 bucks. overall pretty good show. |

Almost a mud bowl, you will get muddy feet. Saturday was fine with all 3 buildings open. If it rains sunday...good luck parking! You may have to use that AAA membership. My son in law, just getting back from Iraq and never having been to a gunshow (other than the tiny one in lorain years ago) was wide eyed and he can't wait for the next one. ![]() I kept it cheap...a few more spare mags for the 645s (one for $10, one for $20) and some used finger grooved grips for the 629, $10...I got off cheap. I did find a spare mag for my Rigarmi .22 pistol, but passed as it cost $1 more than the gun did! ![]() I hope it stays dry for you all sunday...enjoy. |
| I hear ya about the Painesville show being local. I'm in Chardon, so this is about the only show I will sell any of my knives at. And speaking of Ammo... The guy from the "Ammo-Store' told me that WOLF is fading out in the U.S. I guess the Russians are fed up with all the red tape.. |
don't believe everything you hear at a gunshow.......especially from a vendor, or dealer. the US is the largest market for civilian ammunition, I doubt they are going to cease selling ammo here.......where do you think they are going to sell ammo at, england? there are still some jackasses that price their mags and advertise them as "pre-ban" |
You do have a point there!! |
