I just wanted to let everyone know that I finished my CCW class today, and if you are around or east of Cleveland I highly recommend ohiofirearmstraining.com. John Bailey and his crew did an excellent job. It was for $125 for the NRA Personal Protection in the Home Course. We even had the Assistant Prosecutor for Ashtabula County come to class and speak to us about all the legal aspects. Who else is better to tell you what to do than the guy that's going to build a case against you? Granted, any qualified lawyer could say similar things but it's better to hear it from the man that would say "We are letting him go free" or "We are charging him". I have a notorized certificate of completion from the NRA. A paper signed by the Ass. Prosecutor saying I was told about lethal force, self defense and the law. I also got another paper stating all of the specific aspects of the class that were completed. John also agreed that if for any reason I was denied a permit because of something he didnt train me on I could come back free to go over what they say I missed. So when you guys finish a class we should all post here letting everyone else know how they went and what was good or bad about them. |
