I will be standing on the steps of the capital in California next Thursday 24th to be part of an announcement ........

More to come. And who is coming ..... Time to make a dent. Get off the couch ...... Come on down and say hi. I hope to be the guy with the flag, but I will be speaking (among others to be sure). I will be visiting all over the state several more times and I look forward to meeting ARFCOM folks.

Although I am a native California boy, I ended up in Colorado.

But I am visiting......... Time to get off the couch.........

More to come:

Free California
Legislators, Citizens to Urge
Governor Jerry Brown to Stand Down on
“Most Extreme Gun Control Bills in the Nation”
Group won’t rule out “Colorado-style Recall elections” against Democrat legislators for their gun control votes
Anaheim --- At the California Republican Party state convention, a group of concerned citizens will come together to urge Governor Jerry Brown to show restraint by not signing into law the strictest gun control in the nation.
The group will cite similar Democrat Governors in similar “blue states” such as New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, who once experienced high approval ratings but have seen their approval ratings plummet more than 15 points each since signing strict gun control bills in their States. Governor Jerry Brown will face the same fate if he signs the more than a dozen gun control bills on his desk this coming week.
For the Press Conference, legislators will join a newly formed group called Free California, a 501(c)4 filed to perform issue advocacy on the 2nd Amendment.  The group is founded by GOP strategist Jennifer Kerns, who recently served as Spokeswoman for the nationally-renowned Recall elections in Colorado, which defeated the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and NY Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s Mayors against Illegal Guns (MAIG) PAC.
WHO:               Assemblyman Tim Donnelly (R-San Bernardino), Candidate for Governor
Tim Knight, Founder of the nationally-renowned Colorado Recalls
                                   Assemblywoman Shannon Grove  (R-Central Valley)
                                   Assemblyman Brian Jones (R-San Diego)
                                   Concerned citizens
WHAT:             Press Conference urging Governor Jerry Brown to stand down on the most extreme gun control bills in the nation
WHEN:             SATURDAY MORNING, 9:30a.m.
WHERE:           California Republican Party Press Room, 4th Floor (Santa Monica/Malibu room)

Honestly the CA HTF is kinda' dead. Always has been. I really don't understand why because there are tons of active shooters here. I do know that the last few capitol rallies have had dismal turnouts despite being advertised on most of the gun boards.

Either CA shooters have accepted their fate, made plans to all leave or just can't be bothered.

As soon as I know more/have specifics I will confirm. But it is looking like 10 or 10:30. Some logistics with the CHP at the capital need to be worked out.

Gun owners are located in the wealthier southern counties? State capital is 8-hours away.

That is 8 hours each way - two days of driving.  It is about $400 (gasoline cost plus food and a night's lodging) PLUS a day off work (if you're lucky enough to be employed).  If you're not working, that $400 is likely just too far out of reach.

I'm well aware of the immense size of this state.  But there are plenty
of gun owners up here too and the HTF is dead and we can't get anyone to
show up to events or rallies north or south.

My guess is that complacency is the reason. Someone else will get it done. In the immortal words of an unnamed internet meme...I ain't got time fo' dat!

If you happen to be close it would be great to see ya. Let's wait to see where the numbers take us before anyone is driving anywhere. If you happen to have time and you are in the Sacramento area stop by.

This will really be a ramp up and announcement to get money and allies, you guys should jump in once we know specifically where the math creates opportunities.

I will be more specific as soon as I know more. Expect more details on specific "options" about two weeks after the Capitol announcement. Saying more now ...... OPSPEC

10:45 West Capitol steps for those who might be in the area. I will be the guy with the most excellent "Free California Flag."

I will continue to up date this thread as specific seats as they are identified for recall. Expect an up tick in news about recalls in the next few weeks and jump on the band wagon. Hope to meet a few of you along the way.

Coming soon and yeah versions of this flag (hand made $$$$ & screen print less than 50)  and other items coming soon.
Monarch the bear takes a turn for the better.

The free California website will be up next week more completely and after some meetings forces are coming together to make what will be a few very focused recalls. Much math and political realities are being examined, but we will be heard.

Stay tuned .....

Nor Cal is out, no good math there. But I think you all knew that.

Central Valley and So Cal, I think you got action coming your way.  More when I can be specific. We are working.....
Not everyone is going to be thrilled, but we will need to focus on two at a time. We need to get seats we can win and keep.
Can't please everyone right off but money and allies will make it great. Nice alliances coming along

More soon.

As I will be flying out and chipping in, I want to see Nor Cal folks making the trip. That and you guys can be sporting the Free California Hockey Jerseys I am working on. They are brilliant and the real deal. Shirts built for a tussle! Tee shirts too. All to support the recalls.

New wrinkle with some Federal investigation, not involving recalls per say.  But it will have an effect in Sacramento, so it is bumping us a few days. Worry not, still on track and man is this ..... well when I mean some of you I will explain in person.

Never as fast as we want, but it is coming........ still.

Two flags, hope to have them both up for sale next Monday or Tuesday. Profits to support the up coming recalls. Yeah I know it is taking to long, I want to go to. But some serious
behind the curtain stuff is slowing down the process. I am pushing, trust me. I hear ya.

The screen print flag: it will be $45 plus $10 shipping handling. More flags will raise shipping.
3' x 5' outdoor nylon flags/MADE IN USA / finished with header & grommets
Dyed flag-logo is DYED into the material /single sided-image shows reverse on the opposite side

The Appliqued/ hand made flag will be $550.00 each + applicable shipping.
We need to order 25 of these flags to even get this price. The sample cost over $750
as a one off example. It is brilliant

3' x 5' outdoor nylon flags/MADE IN USA / finished with header & grommets
Appliqued flag-logo is SEWN into the material / single
sided-image shows 100% reverse on the opposite side.

A brief description of the appliqué process for this flag...so you
understand the production process:  the flags are basically DOUBLE SIDED on
a single piece of fabric.  So, each spec of shading on the bear, things on
the grass, etc. are all hand sewn TWICE on this flag, to create it.
Therefore, the manufacturer cannot keep the price any lower as it is a very
labor intensive flag to make (much more detailed then the Free Colorado
appliqued flag).

Tee shirts, stickers and real hockey Jerseys coming too!
