Just checked the weather forcast for this coming Saturday ... SNOW at my SoCal Riverside home at elevation 1776 feet! It's been a few years since that happened. I think California's efforts to stop global warming have gone too far and need to do what we can to stop California cooling before it get's out of hand! The snow pack in the Sierras must be building pretty good ... sounds like a trip to Sequoia National is in the cards!! |

Yeah I remember that, 2004 or 5 I think? I almost slept in the Cajon Pass that night commuting home to Victorville. The global warming Climate Change is in full force out here too. It was 70+ degrees here last Friday and it snowed yesterday. |
| Read this morning, south of Point Conception, the snow level will be 1000 ft. North of Point Conception, snow level will be 500 ft...that's FIVE HUNDRED FEET. I'm south of it, should be 1000 ft. my house, according to my hand held GPS unit, is 665ft. I'm in Moorpark, just outside of L.A. Could still see snow, if so, I'll be snapping a ton of pics. |

I'm at 4000'. Wood is stacked under the patio, snow shovel is strategically located. Medicinal JD has been procured. Yeah dude, you're getting nailed with snow. Severe weather warnings are calling for 40 to 50 mile an hr winds with that snow. Possible "white out" conditions in some areas. If you don't have to be out in it....DON'T. |
