Hello, My brother in law lives in California and has a Bullet button OLL. His birthday is coming up and was wondering if the Slidefire Solutions SSAR-15 stock would A) be legal in your state since it isn't a collapsible stock and B) if it would meet the minimum 30in requirement. Thanks for your input.

I have no idea about the overall length issue - it looks to be about the same size as an M4/CAR15 carbine stock so
with a 16" barrel, it should get you over 30". And since he has the BulletButton, the AW issues should otherwise be
OK.

The REAL BIG WORRY is that this stock - given the marketing for this product touting it as making it easy to 'bump fire' -
could readily be considered a 'multiburst trigger activator'.   These devices are intrinisically illegal, whether or not attached
to the rifle, so I'd advise not even possessing one in CA.

PC 12020(c)(23) As used in this section, a "multiburst trigger activator" means one of the following devices:

(A) A device designed or redesigned to be attached to a semiautomatic firearm which allows
the firearm to discharge two or more shots in a burst by activating the device.

(B) A manual or power-driven trigger activating device constructed and designed so that
when attached  to a semiautomatic firearm it increases the rate of fire of that firearm.

Given the expansive "B" definition, it's too close for comfort.
