| Hello, My brother in law lives in California and has a Bullet button OLL. His birthday is coming up and was wondering if the Slidefire Solutions SSAR-15 stock would A) be legal in your state since it isn't a collapsible stock and B) if it would meet the minimum 30in requirement. Thanks for your input. |

I have no idea about the overall length issue - it looks to be about the same size as an M4/CAR15 carbine stock so
with a 16" barrel, it should get you over 30". And since he has the BulletButton, the AW issues should otherwise be OK. The REAL BIG WORRY is that this stock - given the marketing for this product touting it as making it easy to 'bump fire' - could readily be considered a 'multiburst trigger activator'. These devices are intrinisically illegal, whether or not attached to the rifle, so I'd advise not even possessing one in CA. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––- PC 12020(c)(23) As used in this section, a "multiburst trigger activator" means one of the following devices: (A) A device designed or redesigned to be attached to a semiautomatic firearm which allows the firearm to discharge two or more shots in a burst by activating the device. (B) A manual or power-driven trigger activating device constructed and designed so that when attached to a semiautomatic firearm it increases the rate of fire of that firearm. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––- Given the expansive "B" definition, it's too close for comfort.
