Who's loving this weather? I must be part duck or something because I'm thoroughly enjoying it. And supposedly another storm is on the way, extending this weather into Thursday.

I'm loving it, too.  I took the dog for a walk.  She liked it, too.

Living in southern California, I've come to appreciate and not complain about any rain we manage to get.

Loving it. I too am in So.Cal......Moorpark. My only gripe is that I discovered my roof is leaking...oh well, I've got a bucket and a call in to a roofer. Could be worse.

Yep I love it too!  Heard it all night and still going up to now.  But alas I'm going back to work tonight....damn!

I love the rain...we definitely need the moisture.  I love the sound and the smell of it too...but I hate the traffic nightmare in creates here in LA.  The rain seems to wash away some of the filth and grime here in the city.

I was cooking BBQ and drinking beer out in the rain this afternoon.

Thank God for Gortex rain gear.

There was nothing in the San Luis Rey river yesterday near my house, but it's got some water flowing tonight.  Will be interesting to see how much water it has tomorrow.

Update: (weds a.m.)  Just saw the rain totals.  We've had 6.14" in the last 5 days here in Oceanside.  Palomar Mountain has had 14".

I am in the San Gabriel Valley, and it has rained pretty good here, no complaints, except for some high school teenagers whose winter break got "ruined."

This rain is really warm. It is now +56ºF. Nothing out of the ordinary here.

The only report problem was that my son was at the Santa Anita Fashion Park, and they had like a 2 hour power outage yesterday. He said that the emergency lights came on and everything. He thought it was pretty exciting. I asked him what happens if the emergency lights DIDN'T come on, what would happened? His reply "oh kids could light their with their cell phones."

At 1040am, rain has stopped and the sun is out, but just barely.

San Luis Rey and Santa margarita rivers both flowing really strong.  Lots of trees down on camp Pendleton.

I'd take that! Cold, windy, and still snowing.

Looks like 4-6" worth and plunging temperatures are going to turn the slushy roads into an ice rink! The idiots here have never driven in snow - or at least act like it - and I'm not going out there driving despite the fact that I learned to drive in Chicago.

Still working there ... just moved away for awhile between semesters. I'll be back.

Damn state of emergency here ... can't take my guns outside it appears.

Spoiled So. Californian. My nephew is going to UCR. He is staying in Pentland dorms.

BTW: It rained really hard in my 'hood. I am in the San Gabriel Valley, 5 miles east of Los Angeles, near the 210 Foothill Fwy.,
