Who's loving this weather? I must be part duck or something because I'm thoroughly enjoying it. And supposedly another storm is on the way, extending this weather into Thursday. |

I was cooking BBQ and drinking beer out in the rain this afternoon. Thank God for Gortex rain gear. There was nothing in the San Luis Rey river yesterday near my house, but it's got some water flowing tonight. Will be interesting to see how much water it has tomorrow. Update: (weds a.m.) Just saw the rain totals. We've had 6.14" in the last 5 days here in Oceanside. Palomar Mountain has had 14". |

I am in the San Gabriel Valley, and it has rained pretty good here, no complaints, except for some high school teenagers whose winter break got "ruined."
This rain is really warm. It is now +56ºF. Nothing out of the ordinary here. The only report problem was that my son was at the Santa Anita Fashion Park, and they had like a 2 hour power outage yesterday. He said that the emergency lights came on and everything. He thought it was pretty exciting. I asked him what happens if the emergency lights DIDN'T come on, what would happened? His reply "oh kids could light their with their cell phones."
