for an EMT looking for work in Corona/Riverside, Ca? I have been licensed (NREMT) for almost 3 months now and I have found nothing after putting in countless resumes and applications. |
| Good luck, there isn't much. I've been NREMT for 10 years and a few months back, decided to look for somewhere to do a few weekend shifts a month (to pay for a new EBR build). Nothing. Nada. I even know ppl in a few of the local Amb services, didn't help one damn bit... |

I'm married, I can't just pack up and move to the sandbox. It's not all camels, incest and sand-fleas. There are several countries you may wish to explore. Most of these countries are safer than urban U.S. areas. Take a job in Kuwait, Dubai or Bahrain...and bring her with you. Keep her out of the malls or you are really toast. Otherwise, look towards a very scarce domestic job market. Expat work is interesting, and for me is not long-term. But it brings home $$$ and keeps a roof over the wife AND kids heads. You do what you gotta do. DynCorp, CSC, CSA, etc. etc. are always looking for medical peeps of various skill levels. |
