I am thinking of starting a dedicated 22lr build. I have a stripped Kaiser Defence upper that is dying for a Spikes Tactical 22lr upper. The upper comes with and A2 FH. My understaing is that as long as the barrel is 16 inches I dont need to have the FH pinned on. What if I dont want the A2 and want to add a Spikes Tactical Fake can? You think that I am going to run into any issues? ... and rim fire. Not sure if the 30" law applies to rimfire. Doesn't look like it ... "Centerfire" only.
"12276.1. (a) Notwithstanding Section 12276, "assault weapon" shall also mean any of the following: ... (3) A semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that has an overall length of less than 30 inches ... "

| Was not planning on making it shorter than 30 inches. Iguess the question here was the fake can issue? Any problem with the fake can on my 5.56? I was planning on replacing the A2 FH on that with a fake can. It meets all the requirements of that flowchart and the A2 is not pinned. |
