Here's a good site for the latest. Looks like both Burro Canyon and Angeles are in good shape. All the trees I planted in my younger days are gone.
The Mt. Wilson cam gives a good view of why it was in danger, nice mix of old chaparral and conifers. I can remember picnicing up there when I was little and visiting some of the telescope if they were open. |
