When I had mine it was 3. Can't tell you where that is in the Statutes but there were only 3 spaces on the permit, so I filled 'em up! They only put three spaces, but there's no statutory limitation. All of the ones on your permit. If you can get the sheriff to put 20 guns on your permit, and you can find a way to carry them all, to my knowledge that isn't illegal. |

| Thanks for the info. I have heard two different stories and that is why I ask. 1. I thought my Calif. CCW instructor (a ca police officer) said, you can have up to three listed on your permit, but said, you are only allowed to carry one gun at a time on your self. 2. A few months later at a UTAH CCW class (held in calif. by a calif police officer) the question came up about how many guns can you carry on your self at one time in Calif, and he said you can carry all three at once if you want. So I am not sure, and have been trying to find the law or a good source for this info. |
