Guys,
Knowing that you live in CA, you'll understand how screwed up this issue is. I'm reposting this from two different sites as this is a personal friend of mine that is being F'd over by L.A.

Please read and help out if you can, thanks.

I remember the original report on this, I wondered a few times what came about of all this. Wow, just wow.

I don't know anymore. Is it worth having to fork over $$$ for an attorney fees?

Jesus christ!

I couldnt believe it till I read it!

What a shame....... reading that case made me utterly sick. To think there was someone out there pushing to go after this guy for years! WTF about all those thugs with illegal firearms that dont comply to any laws what so ever! Why cant these cowards go after the thugs instead of a avid gun collector. He is IMO a lot less of a worry then those tens of thousands of thugs in Cali with illegal guns. But then again the bullies that apprehended Don are too cowardly to go after the thugs.

At most Don should have recieved a letter questioning him on the Walthers 22lr. The BMGs and the 1919 are all good to go. They were built before the BMG ban and were registered wtih the DOJ before 2004. Which were the only requirements to keep BMGs. So why is it that someone who complied with the laws is now being punnished? Do the Feds want to make an example out of him and scare the rest of the gun owners to hand over their guns?

Well at least Bill Ritche saw the writting on the wall when he packed up EDM arms and moved to Hurricane UT.

Its a complete and utter damn shame to see this kind of thing happen to a regular "joe"

If there is a petition or anything else requiring signature let me know. I would like to see this guy pull through.

He was waiting for the letter and return box for the .22, this is another issue that should be dropped.

The best way to help him is to donate directly to his defense fund through his lawyers office or follow the CalGuns link and donate to their defense fund that helps out shooters that need it. They're suppose to be making a formal announcement on the issue on CalGuns sometime soon.

Again, thanks for any help you guys can give.
