I had the chance of meeting quite a few of you guys here and so far I have not been disappointed. You are all solid and a great addition to the Calif HTF.
I had the honor of meeting Eric last year along with his wife at the Charity shoot and they are super people. Eric has stepped up to the plate for a non California arfcommer and took their kids around to show them some sights here in town. Well, This last weekend, Eric took it upon himself to show me and and a friend what varmint hunting was all about. Eric went way over and beyond showing a person the ropes. We had a great time (even though I didnt get anything this time) and Eric is a great teacher. I will vouch for him any day of the week. If this man says something, he means it. A man of his word and these days, people like him are very hard to come by. Thanks Eric!

I'm just a member here on the site. I had a great time as well. DrFrige and his buddy "T" are a couple of real nice guys. After everything that happened this past week with the election, it was refreshing to hang out with folks who think and believe like you do.
Other than the fatal accident that left us stuck in traffic for almost an hour, the rest of the day went great. One coyote called in, but he knew something was up and left town before DrFrige saw him. Also not much in the small game department as well, but we did manage to kick up a couple of Jack Rabbits and pop a ground squirrel that ignored the truck that was parked 30 yards away. Also, we got to see some strange sites, like the 1000's of wasps that were in one particular area, buzzing us and knocking against my truck while we were inside!! It was the first time in my life I had seen something like that. I think the same went for DrFrige as well. Anyways, two animals down, but lots of good conversation and plans for the near future. Thanks again guys! It was a blast!! Eric |

Eric You sure that the dog didn't see Ivan and take off? Went camping Saturday night (BIG tarantula spiders crawling everywhere). About midnight a 'yote was within 100 yards of my tent and let out a crazy sounding wail like it was screaming in pain. Really creepy. Want pictures of the spiders? |
