I'm 48-years old and have dozens of 20-round magazines for my M1A. I have more than a hundred for my AR's.

Here's my national match rifle which I painted out the stainless barrel, replaced the op rod, and had Clint polish the trigger. I use to have sights of various types on it but found that I'm quite able to hit my targets with iron sights.

Here's some other California legal junk.

Now, did you ever burn ants as a kid?

Most of California's gunners don't hang around here because of the hateful remarks sent at them from ignorant assholes. These suckers think we're un-armed. We have our own gun site, come by and look at pictures if you want.

152 threads I counted.

Enjoy.

WOW i ask a serious question and you get defensive suprise
not burning ants or trying to start any bs
i can understand the suspicion so i will not fire back on the 30 day comments as it has NO bearing on anything in this thread
simply put i want to see what inventive ways you californians have adapted to the laws put in place i am a firearms enthusiest and mean no ill will to any other enthuseists
and can apreciate a good rifle when i see one no matter what state it is in

BTW you have a great collection i love m1a and garands and yes i do understand that you all have pre ban weapons im just wondering how you accesorise them
i cant help it im a picture whore

Jeez Paul, give the guy a break. It sounds like he just wants to see some monster man and U-15 stock equipped rifles. I think all the ant burners have given you a complex. Don't take this wrong, but this is the second time I have seen you jump on an out of stater just asking a fair question.

Edit for spelling

Gentlemen ... when have I ever been wrong?

It could be the guy speaks English as a second language or just has poor communications skills and therefore his bizarre phrasing and question that missed the point he was seeking by a Texas mile. Or this could be the very first time someone came into the CA HTF and actually was asking an honest question along these lines ... if so it's the first time in the existence of the home town forums. Odder things have happened but never before here. I checked the other home town forums and didn't find any other requests for pictures so that sort of set me off.

I could actually be wrong ...

IF SO I OFFER MY MOST SINCE APOLOGY

And deliver you pictures of all sorts of weapons to enjoy.

This may not tickle your fancy but mine is KISSed.  Only a few changes: Hogue pistol grip, tac latch, and sling.  I may someday add Meprolight front sight.  My Colt has large pins but the rest of the features are GI as it can get.  I can't complain when I purchased the rifle around $600 during the time when it cost double the value.

My CA ARs & AKs are no different than your TX ARs & AKs.

No weird PGs, stocks, mag releases, or 10 round only mags. Plenty of 30, 20, and drum mags in my inventory. I'm kinda of a K.I.S.S. type of guy, I do have scopes, ACOGs, and AIMPOINTs, just haven't taken a newer family photo in a while.

Old group shot...theres been a few reconfigurations since then.

9mm pistol upper with UZI mag adapter.

Standard AKs, not Cali neutered.

Don't have an M1A yet... but I have several FALs.
Regular L1A1

If you are lying prone, I don't think the grip will be a problem.  If feels a lot like holding a regular rifle.  So prone should be no different.

I say go to the range and you will most likely see someone there with a MMG and ask them to try it out.  Or go to one of the many stores that sell them and give it a try.

In my opinion though, it isn't a bad way to go.  I really like having a detachable magazine.  Especially since I have hi-cap mags.  I own a BB rifle as well, but that is just for plinking.  I use my MMG much more just because it is so easy to use.  But that is just me.  That is why I made this grip in the first place, I really didn't want to sacrifice my detachable magazine.  So I have fully functional rifles.  Even if they do look a bit "strange".
