Just recently purchased a 10/22 and was wondering if there were any sort of restrictictions when modifying it (the stock being my main concern). I am well aware that the magazine capacity has to remain at 10 and im happy with that. But i wouldnt mind a pistol grip or thumbhole stock out on a long day of hunting. Any help would be great, thanks in advance. |

Pretty much as long as it follows federal length laws (16" barrel and 28" overall as the minimums), isn't an NFA weapon (short barrel rifle, full auto, suppressed, etc), and doesn't have a fixed magazine with more than 10 rounds (tubular magazines have no limit) then it is good to go. Essentially, you can do ANYTHING to your Ruger 10/22 in regards to aftermarket parts. |
What about folding/Tubular stocks? |
