Does anyone know if its a point on ur record? My gf got this dumb ass ticket for looking at a map for 1 second at a light at midnight when she got lost.. And the cop didnt even show her how to get back home

Heh. Smart move. Probably why he didn't show. He might be taking vacation since his kids just got out of school. |

I think everyone has had their share of encounters with good cops and bad cops. I have meet one nice cop, a normal cop, a bad cop, and a REALLY bad asshole cop. The last two mentioned, one lied about how fast I was going (he pulled out and turned on his sirens and then said he had followed me to get my speed when he couldn't produce any evidence from his radar gun). I was going like 6 mph over, but he said I was going like 25. The asshole cop that I met gave me a ticket (which I admit I deserved), but then followed me for about 12 minutes until I pulled into the drive through at a KFC. He waited and watched me for about 2 minutes with his car parked just outside the drive through before taking off. But then again I have had a cop just write me a warning before when I was clearly in the wrong. Funny thing is, this guys actions have made me more inclined to follow the law than the other jerks. I guess my rambling point is, don't blame all cops for the actions of one guy. They are just doing their job, which most of the time they want to be out doing something more important. I have heard from several cops that they HATE giving tickets because it is a waste of time and man power. |
