Talked to sales guy at the Wal-Mart in Brea tonight. They were told 2 days ago that the they would not be getting guns back, but that several in the area would be. None in LA County and the 3 closest to LA County in Orange County would. However, he was told that stores would be Anaheim (I-5 and Euclid), La Habra (Beach Blvd. and Imperial Highway) and Industry. Now we agreed that something wasn't quite cricket because the Industry store is definitely in LA County. The Manager at Brea may (NOT DEFINITE DON"T HASSLE HIM) have helped put kibosh on theirs. Apparently they only had one qualified seller and they have to take everything out of the vault in the morning, log everything out of the vault and into the display and then log everything in and out again in the late afternoon. Lots of paperwork and hassle for minimal sales. Theoretically special orders will still be available at the stocking stores. Again this is unconfirmed information. |

Nope, LA County. Basically north of the 60 and east of the 605 and west of 39. Riverside County is south of the 60 and east of the 71 (The actual boundary may be just a little west of the 71 on the ridges). Dropped by the La Habra store. One lady in the ammo section said hadn't heard, one said definitely No and the section manager said "Soon, but then it's been soon for months." |
Yes, I find her to be objectionable. I remember she boycotted Walmart after the Columbine shootings. Nevermind that those kids illegally purchased those weapons... |
| April time frame. Talked to a guy in the La Habra store. gonna be a 7-4 weekdays deal. One person only is going to work the guns. The guns are still locked up and they just installed a computer system for the gun sales. He figures they are serious about it now. |
