I noticed that there will be a gunshow Dec 12-13 at the Miccosukee resort. I usually go to the one at the Youth Fair. How does the Miccosukee show compare to the Dade County YF? Thanks |
Smaller, fewer vendors and Shoot Straight isn't there with their six rows (they own/run the competing Florida Gun Shows at the Fair Grounds). About 1/3 the size. If you're going to buy, I'd recommend going to the Fair Grounds show on Sundays before the vendors wrap-up. Some of the vendors at the Miccosukee show make me go  .

The only thing I am currently looking for is a Magpul D60 and the pmag re-enforced AK mags. Probably will back order the D60 online. |

The D60 is just shipping so probably not...but there is an outfit from mid-state that has some decent AR builds who might have it. I forget their name but I remember the guys. I haven't notice the pmag AK mags but then I wasn't looking for them. I plan on hitting the show before going to Trail Glades on Saturday. PM me and I can scout those items for you. ETA: Got my weekends confused. I'm heading this Sat to the range and the show is the following weekend. Sorry. |
