Hey guys need some help regarding a non resident CCW application if you'd be so kind. Literally yesterday an opportunity for the family to go on vacation popped up, but we'd be flying down the 14th. Have you guys ever heard of a non resident CCW application taking under 2 weeks. Let's say I figured out what I needed and had it in the mail tomorrow, next day certified ect. I'm far away so I can't do the in person accelerated thing. Thanks! |

Never happen.
Mailing alone would take 3-5 days, in-house processing 5-6 weeks. Get everything together and go to a satellite Dept of Agriculture office Fast Track method (http://www.freshfromflorida.com/Divisions-Offices/Licensing/Concealed-Weapon-License/Fast-Track-Processing) and do it in a single day while you're here. BTW- Florida doesn't issue a 'non-resident' permit- they're all the same. |

With all of that said...
If you have a document of training (see FS 790.06) and an appointment at a regional office you could get everything done so that you are ready for your next unexpected vacation. The regional office does the picture the prints and the notarization all in one place. You need your proof of training and money. |

Quoted: Mailed applications are pushing 90 days right now. Even if you had an appointment at a regional office it would be two weeks. An appointment maybe 2 weeks out depending on the regional office. Do you have a state licence with recip? |
