Please help, I'm here on vacation from the UK at the moment and was wondering if I purchase some Magpul furniture while here does this break ITAR regulations?

I've had alook at the ITAR info online but cannot seem to find an answer either way.

Thanks in advance.

I'm in Orlando, was at the gun show yesterday and it got me thinking about buying something while here. It's MOE furniture and BUIS that I would like to buy, but don't want to end up in jail!

I by no means know the law but how would this be an issue?   put the parts in your checked in luggage and be done with it.......I know we can check in firearms and ship on planes.....and you guys are allowed to order parts and own correct?....how is buying a BUIS, hand guard, or stock(just examples) by any means going to land you in jail?  if its checked in it should be fine.....unless you poor bastards are not allowed to own magpul gear over the pond lol

EDIT:  Did some looking around and your answer is right on Magpuls site......look at bottom of Description.  Sorry man......although there is nothing stated for the BUIS

We can own all Magpul gear no problem. It's taking it out of the US that's difficult it would appear.

Looks like I will just have to pay through the nose for it back in the UK!

Wish to hell I could just move here and be done! If anyone knows any anti gun types who would swap places with me and go and live in Scotland, let me know!

Thanks for the advice guys.

You got bushido tactical, east organe gun shop and bass pro shop that sells magpu l.

Pending on colours. I would drop by bushido first.

I'm not a lawyer and my advice is worth what you paid for it:

Here's ITAR in a nutshell:

If it can be used to shoot back at us in any way, shape or form, export license required.
