Has anyone recently submitted an application? Are you still waiting? I have a friend who says next week it will be 3 months and still has a processing on the website but nothing else. 3 months to me is a little excessive regardless of the situation we are in.

I submitted May 9 by actually going to the DACS Office and received mine last week (approx. 1 month wait). They do everything (fingerprinting, background check, passport photo) at the office for no additional charge.

If you mail it in be prepared to wait, if you go in to one of their offices it's usually fairly quick. Got mine early 2012 in less than a week.

My Wife sent in her app in early Feb. Got a letter at around 60 days that said

she had to prove she was a US citizen even though she has been one for over 30 years

and they did not ask for it up front.

She mailed them a copy of her PW right away. I had been checking the site for

weeks after and it never updated, but she got it last week.

If it's over 90 days you should call and get the status. Number is on the site.

They screwed up my wifes finger prints but didn't bother to tell her.

We then had to re-print, and they were also rejected. Once again, no one followed up.

Did mine in early March and the site says it was issued 3 June and will still take 2-4 weeks to be printed and mailed. I am away for a class so I am not sure if it is in the mail already.

The only problem for me was if I made an appointment to go in the earliest date available was Sept 13th in my district, almost three months out. Needless to say, I mailed my paperwork in this morning and will take my chances on the wait. Why wait four months when I could just wait three?

LOL - that would be a wait for the appointment and then the 90 clock starts - right now you will get it faster if you mail it in - just cost you a little bit more money and time doing the pics, finger print cards and notary.
