I submitted my paperwork for my CCW about 3-4 weeks ago. My fingerprints wentelectronically 2 weeks before I actually sent the paperwork. How long does it take for the folks at State to approve it and send me my card?

My buddy has been waiting well over 100 days. Check cashed mid September. He called last week, to hear her say well over 90 day wait right now.

I went to the dept of agriculture instead of snail mailing it and it took 18 days. Not sure what the time is for mailing it in. I think I've heard 6-10 weeks.

MF . That's horseshit. Isnt there a shall issue time period? or can they drag it out indefinetly. I still have my CCW from another state recognized by FL so I am still legally armed but if I want to pick up a handgun i have to wait.

Something is going on with this stuff.

I went into their office on November 14 with everything in hand. They "processed it" or something that day. Palm Beach office near Okeechobee.

About 2 weeks later, my check cashed.

I haven't seen anything from them since then. Last week, the phone inquiry system said my application was being processed.

They must be swamped. My boss tried to schedule an appointement. Earliest he could get was March 5!

My wife went in person to complete the paperwork and digital fingerprinting and hers showed up in a couple weeks our so. I was surprised at how quickly she got it.
