Anyone been to the early voting polls yet? Tried to take my mother but the lines were too long for her. We'll certainly try again. Packed with Obama's most loyal voting block, mostly. Of course I live in WPB. |

Of course I live in WPB. This, I was going to go (live in Tequesta) but got a text about the lines. My bro that was there said vans from those little hole in the wall churches from Rivera Beach were pulling in left and right. Lots of "community organizers" were at the wheel, guess the 47% is out in force. I think we are in trouble, again. |

Hit the booth after the gun show this afternoon. Maybe a 10 minute wait. I'm in a R county though so most of the signs and flag wavers are R's. Funny, wife and I were on the way out of the gun show and a couple of BHO looking types were at the front door asking where do we vote? The place to vote is a mile up the road. They had the big saucer eyes looking at all the gun toting folks walking around.....They were out of their element for sure.
First time I have ever done the early thing....I was afraid that due to work - I would not be able to vote this year, so I took no chances and got mine in. The results may not be what I want....but I strongly feel it is my responsibility to vote. |

Woke up this morning at 6:30 and went straight to the Boca Town Hall/Community Center and voted. I live 5 minutes away and the entire process saw me back at my place at 7:30 (opened at 7:25). Line was short when I got there, but grew very quickly.
Most were older citizens (50+), who from what I discerned, many were voting for Romney. I only saw one Obama sign, but given the people that live in Boca, I cant say Im surprised. |

Voted at the Daytona city island library today. 45 minute wait in line. Seemed to be a large group of obama voters, but quite a few older voters that I think will trend Romney as well.
Tried to vote yesterday after going to the DMV and made it to the DMV just as 2,000 students from the local black college marched from their campus to vote for their messiah. They were carrying signs and chanting his name. I may or may not have yelled out "fuck obama" at the top of my lungs back at them. |

i went today, was planning to go earlier in the week but either something came up or I was lazy after work.
took about 3 hours, In line for about 40 minutes when a sheriff's deputy shows up from BSO and decides to mess with the line, we had a orderly line, but he wanted people in the grass and not the curb and the line had one S in the middle of it due to the shape of the parking lot, everything had been fine till he showed up, then he started moving parts of it, and while he did make it straighter , at least a dozen peoples places got mixed up in line because he had the back of the line moving, and the middle, but he skipped the people in the S till it was too late to fix everything. 2 observations from where I went was about 70% minorities in line, and almost nobody under 25, I may have seen 10 people that were 18-25 out of the thousand or so that I was around. This was at the Public library at the College While parked next to a tree I seemed to pickup a yellow faced lizard. Anyway Im not sure what his protest meant, but as i Drove off i saw him on the windshield wipers then he went under the hood, I turned onto the main street and started to go, and he ran out onto the glass, and kinda looked at me, and then Jumped into the air to his death possibly, as their were several cars behind me as I left from voting. |

I was out of town sat through mon. I drive past the Delray library every day on the way to work.
It did not look that bad tue-sat. Worked late every night this week so I figured Sat would be ok. Had to work sat so I got there at 6:30 PM 4 hours and 15 min later I was done voting. What a joke. There were several precincts voting so if you we're not from the local one they had to Reprint the ballots. I don't think there was one R supporter in line. |

I'll be trying Monday on my lunch break. Quoted:
I tried to go today but the line was out the door and wrapped around the parking lot. We'll try again tomorrow morning during church hours. You may try, but will not succeed. Early voting ended today. Well, it's a good thing I went last Sunday during church hours. |

Guess I should learn to look at post dates before I open by big mouth!
